Santa Fe, NM: Native Elements Art Festival + Market returns to Santa Fe Botanical Garden and Convention Center May 21 through May 24, Memorial Day Weekend.

Celebrating Native land, plants, and people, Native Elements Art Market + Festival features a Grand Opening Celebration, an art market with over 160 vendors, artist panel and special programming, and an exclusive auction.

Featured Native artists: Marla Alison (Laguna), Autumn Borts-Medlock (Santa Clara), Veronica Poblano (Santo Domingo), and Donald Sockyma (Hopi), Jared and Jon DeCelles (Gros Ventre/Assiniboine), and Sally Black (Diné).

The Market includes opportunities for art sales, food, and entertainment throughout the weekend. Up to 160 Native artists will participate during this four-day event.

The Festival benefits the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) Scholarship Fund, the Native American Advised Fund (NAAF) of the Santa Fe Community Foundation, and San ta Fe Botanical Garden.

Thursday, May 21, 5:30 – 7:30pm: Opening Reception & Auction – Santa Fe Botanical Garden. The Distinguished Achievement Award will be presented to Della Warrior at this event.

Friday, May 22, 5 – 8:30pm: Night Market, “Meet the Artists” & Press Night – Santa Fe Convention Center

Saturday, May 23, 9am – 5pm: Art Market and Special Programming – Santa Fe Convention Center Featured Artist Panel Discussion at 11am the panel will be moderated by Michael Clawson, Executive Editor of Native American Art Magazine

Sunday, May 24, 10am – 4pm: Art Market and Special Programming – Santa Fe Convention Center Artist demonstration with Marla Alison at 11am
