Are you itching to scratch the soil? Yearning for dirty fingernails? Ready to rake?

If you’d like to work with us in our Garden, come participate in the first Volunteer Gardeners Orientation of 2025 with Santa Fe Botanical Garden’s Director of Horticulture, Linda Churchill.

Volunteer gardeners meet weekly on Wednesday mornings March through October, with occasional work sessions scheduled on other dates.

Ages 15 and up are welcome to join the Ground Force volunteers. Some gardening knowledge and experience is helpful but novice gardeners are welcome to join us as well.

*You must have first filled out a New Volunteer Application form and attended Volunteer Orientation in order to be a Volunteer gardener.

*New gardeners must attend a New Volunteer Gardeners Orientation before working with us in the Garden.

*Orientation sessions scheduled various times during the year if you’re unable to make the initial orientation.
