Santa Fe, NM: Santa Fe Botanical Garden’s Speaker Series presents
New York Times best selling author, Zoë Schlanger. She takes to the stage at the New Mexico Museum of Art’s St. Francis Auditorium on Tuesday, June 16.
Schlanger’s The Light Eaters: How the Unseen World of Plant Intelligence Offers a New Understanding of Life on Earth blends cutting-edge science with compelling storytelling to explore plant intelligence.
The author examines how plants sense, communicate, and interact with the living world around them. The relationship between plants, pollinators and ecosystems is shaping the future of conservation.
Following her presentation, Schlanger will be joined for a moderated conversation and Q&A by Katie Mast, a Santa Fe–based science writer and communications manager at the Santa Fe Institute.
