July 2020, began an exhilarating and joyous period in my life, that has truly flown by. I am and will forever remain grateful to the Garden community and its operating team that I’ve been honored to be a part of. Thank you.
It would take pages for me to describe all that I’ve learned from your service commitment, talents, passion and persistence. Thank you.
You, the Garden community of volunteers, members, supporters, visitors and the team which accepted me as a colleague, welcome, share and inform each person with whom you interact each and every day. Your ever-present smile and engagement tangibly demonstrate acceptance, kindness and generosity. Each of you position the Garden for success while helping Santa Fe be an even better community. Thank you.
Finally, I witnessed the transformative and restorative power of the Garden community as each person tirelessly helped “row the boat” on the collectively chosen course, energized and renewed by a shared vision and set of values and goals. I believe the Garden’s progress, powered by this community, has just begun, while leaving me speechless and convinced that your service inspires others to “come aboard.”
I look forward to seeing each of you in the Garden, serving in a new role, focused on being an active volunteer in the Garden community. My sincere gratitude for all you do, have done, and will do for the Garden and Santa Fe.
