Wonders on Wheels Mobile Museum features, “The Arts of Democracy in New Mexico” which honors the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and highlights ideals of freedom and self-government as they have been expressed in art forms, particularly in New Mexico.

Wonders on Wheels, a division of the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs (NMDCA), serves all 33 counties in New Mexico, bringing arts, culture, history, and science exhibits and curriculum-based programming to fairs, festivals, public libraries, and schools. The goal is to make learning fun and accessible to people of all ages throughout the state. “The Arts of Democracy in New Mexico” is supported in part by New Mexico Arts, a division of the Department of Cultural Affairs, and by the National Endowment for the Arts.
