Rot Squad is in charge of helping nature make black gold from garden trimmings and kitchen waste. Work will include using our chipper-shredder, turning and watering the compost bins, and more. Work days are Thursdays April-October, with additional days scheduled on occasion.

Some gardening and composting knowledge and experience is helpful but not necessary.

*If you are not a current volunteer, you must have first filled out a New Volunteer Application form and attended Volunteer Orientation in order to be a Volunteer gardener. 

*New gardeners must attend a New Volunteer Gardeners Orientation before working with us in the Garden.  

*Orientation sessions scheduled various times during the year if you’re unable to make the initial orientation.
