When should I prune my fruit trees? How should I manage the old apple tree on my property? How much wood is too much to take off? Why prune at all?
Learn answers to these and other questions from Linda Churchill, SFBG Director of Horticulture, at our fruit tree pruning workshop. This is a combination lecture and hands-on workshop. Bring your questions and your work gloves and be prepared to practice your pruning technique.
Tools will be supplied but you may bring your own pruners for tips on cleaning and sharpening.
