Tuesday, August 14 The following two pictures show the construction crew digging the foundation for the concrete block wall of the Dry Garden (xeric plant collection). Scroll down to also see the large pieces of flagstone that have arrived and will be used throughout the entire Orchard Gardens on walkways, under the North and South Ramadas, and in the Welcome Ramada. The local landscape architect, Beverley Spears stands next to the stack to show the scale and size of the flagstone. Look at the rich color, texture, and lichens of the flagstone- gorgeous!
