Join us for a forest bathing experience with Dr. Kim Lazarus. She will lead a group through our garden paths and present activities that engage the five major senses as a way of grounding and decreasing stress. Guides are not therapists. Support for wellness, personal development, and possible healing comes to participants from their interaction with the environment. Guided walks have as their sole aim creating and sustaining opportunities for safe, meaningful, relational and reciprocal contact between participants and nature.
About the instructor:
Dr. Kim Lazarus is a nationally certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide with the ANFT. Certified in wilderness first-aid and CPR. Her background also includes a national board certification as a health & wellness coach, chiropractor, and professional figure skater.
