Small Spaces: Build your own miniature garden

Advance registration recommended

What if a garden could fit in the palm of your hand? Curious about how to grow a garden with limited space? Join Christie Collins, Director of Education and Interpretation, for a hands-on workshop that explores options for small spaces and living landscapes. In this guided experience, you’ll design and build your own miniature garden using succulents and complementary plants, learning how even the tiniest environments can support vibrant life.

Along the way, you’ll explore the essentials of successful small-scale gardening—how soil, drainage, light, and plant choice work together to create balance in a compact space. This isn’t just planting; it’s about crafting a tiny ecosystem that thrives.

Whether you’re working with a windowsill, patio, or tabletop, you’ll leave with both a beautiful creation and the confidence to grow more in less space.

All materials are provided and included in the program fee.
