As we move deeper into the season of giving we’re excited to share a special way to celebrate the people, pets, joys or even intentions you wish to lift into the light. A quiet act of gratitude illuminated by the glow of La Luz de las Noches, all while supporting Santa Fe Botanical Garden.
On Giving Tuesday, December 2, we’ll be introducing our new Tree of Light and Gratitude: a sparkling tribute filled with handwritten wooden snowflake ornaments, each one honoring someone or something meaningful to you. Each wooden snowflake will be handwritten in gold by our team, and hung with care on a pine tree in the Garden, where it will remain on display from mid-December through La Luz and into the New Year.

Here’s how it will work on Giving Tuesday:
$10 – Digital snowflake with gratitude message: Custom digital snowflake with your short gratitude message. Perfect to print at home and hang on your own tree.
$25 – One 3″ Snowflake Ornament: When you make your gift, include one name, word, or short phrase, and we will handwrite it in gold on a wooden snowflake, and hang it on the Garden’s Tree of Light and Gratitude.
$50 – One 3″ Snowflake Ornament + Handwritten Honoree Note: When you make your gift, include the name of someone you wish to honor, and we will handwrite it on an ornament, and send a personal handwritten card to the person you choose to honor.
$100 – One 12″ Friends and Family Snowflake Ornament: Celebrate up to five people, pets, or joys on our large Friends and Family wooden snowflake.
$250 – One 12″ Friends and Family Snowflake Ornament + Photo: Celebrate up to five people, pets, or joys on our large Friends and Family wooden snowflake, and receive a digital photo of your ornament glowing in the Garden’s winter lights.
$500 and up – Snowflake Hanging Experience: Celebrate up to five people, pets, or joys on our 12″ wooden snowflake, and join us on a designated day in December to hang it on our Tree of Light and Gratitude. While you’re here, take a selfie with your ornament in the Garden!
We hope you’ll join us in filling the Garden with light, love and heartfelt tributes this Giving Tuesday.
