This class will look closely at leaves as well as flowers in the Aster family. Improve your identification skills by looking closely at their leaves; looking at the arrangement, shape, edges, veins, and hairs can all help with identification. We will also look at lots of flowers in the Asteraceae family. Distinguishing ray and disc flowers and looking at other parts of the flower head can help id plants in this often confusing family!
