Although many roses generally love our dry sunny climate, most will grow and bloom better with correct pruning. The rose collection of Santa Fe Botanical Garden includes beautiful species roses, climbers, and a number of shrub rose varieties. Come learn how, when, and why to prune this favorite flower with Director of Horticulture Linda Churchill.
Bring water, a hat, and gloves to practice in the garden after learning the basics. We will provide tools if you don’t have them.
