Our popular spring pruning workshop was not possible in 2021 due to COVID-19, therefore Arborist Tracy Neal and SFBG Head Gardener, Linda Churchill, developed a virtual workshop on fruit tree pruning.
Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop description
Proper fruit tree pruning requires both a general knowledge of how to prune trees plus specific knowledge of how to create a tree that will be easy to work with as it produces fruit over the years. This live Zoom class is oriented to homeowners and includes the information necessary to prune correctly for tree health and fruit production. Instructors will present photography and videos of pruning actual trees in the SFBG orchard.
