For the first time, the steps leading up from the orchard to cross over to the meadow garden are now visible in the east section of the rock wall. With some imagination, one can envision walking up this way to enter a mostly native vegetation of grasses and wildflowers. Also below we see the trenches are dug to begin the wall construction for the north ramada. Finally, the clear view of the mountains is spectacular this morning- there is a great perspective northeast with the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in view and another looking south to the orchard wall almost complete.
