American Public Gardens Association
to Highlight SFBG at National Conference
The American Public Gardens Association (APGA) invited the Santa Fe Botanical Garden to be among fewer than a dozen of the organization’s more than 600 members to present featured videos as part of APGA’s 2021 national conference program. Twenty gardens were singled out. Nine, including ours, accepted the invitation.
“The Garden Beyond,” APGA’s virtual annual conference, takes place from June 7 through June 10.
Our video, which explores the Botanical Garden’s origins, gives viewers an insider’s view and will be shown on June 8.
Other Gardens that were invited to present include:
- Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens
- Delaware Botanic Gardens
- Durango Botanic Gardens
- Gisborne Eastwodhill National Arboretum of New Zealand
- International Peace Garden (North Dakota/Canada)
- Jensen-Olson Arboretum in Juneau, Alaska
- The Polly Hill Arboretum in Martha’s Vineyard
- Shangri La Botanical Gardens & Nature Center in Orange, Texas
