Join us for The Light Eaters: An Evening with Zoë Schlanger, part of the Santa Fe Botanical Garden’s Science and Conservation Speaker Series, held at the New Mexico Museum of Art’s St. Francis Auditorium. Blending cutting-edge science with compelling storytelling, Schlanger—author of The Light Eaters: How the Unseen World of Plant Intelligence Offers a New Understanding of Life on Earth—explores the emerging field of plant intelligence and what it reveals about how plants sense, communicate, and interact with the living world around them. This special evening invites audiences to consider the profound relationships between plants, pollinators, and ecosystems, and how these connections shape the future of conservation.
General admission tickets include entry to the 6:00pm lecture in the auditorium, followed by a book signing in partnership with Collected Works Bookstore.
VIP Experience
A limited number of VIP tickets are available for an exclusive 5:00pm courtyard reception with the author, featuring wine and light hors d’oeuvres.
