In part 1 of our pollinator series, get ready to dig into the world of pollinators! Bees, butterflies, and even beetles play a big role in helping plants grow and this program will share how you and your family can help them in return. In this fun and educational program, we’ll learn how pollinators support our gardens and wild spaces, and why native plants are so important for their survival.
We’ll learn about pollinators and some of the plants they rely on, a short exploration of the garden plants, then everyone will get a little messy making seed balls (small clay bundles packed with wildflower seeds) that you can toss into your yard or garden to create a pollinator-friendly habitat. It’s hands-on, creative, and a great way for kids and grown-ups to help nature take root!
