DESCRIPTION:SOLD OUT\nWinter Wonders: Exploring the Garden’s Quiet Season \nStart your morning with breakfast at Museum Hill Café and hear from our Director of Horticulture\, Linda Churchill\, and Noah Gapsis\, Horticulturalist\, who will share tips for enjoying and caring for your winter garden. Learn about seasonal maintenance\, pruning\, watering\, and ways to keep your outdoor spaces vibrant during the off-season. Afterward\, take a guided walk through the Santa Fe Botanical Garden to see its winter beauty—bark\, grasses\, and stonework in sharp relief—and get a preview of horticulture programs coming in 2026. Reservations required; garden admission included. \nLocation: Weldon’s Museum Hill Café\, 710 Camino Lejo\, Santa Fe \nTime: \n\n8:30am-9:30am\, Breakfast\n9:30am – 10:30am \, Garden Tour\n\nTickets: Members: $32.00 Members; Not-Members-Yet: $40.00 \nLinda Churchill learned to love nature from her earliest childhood\, gardening and exploring the world through regular family “nature walks” and other outings. From her Midwestern roots\, travels took her to Florida State for university degrees in English and Italian\, then to Italy\, California\, and other places before she discovered New Mexico was where she was meant to be all along. After working for prestigious Santa Fe landscaping firms for several years\, Linda and two colleagues formed their own design-build landscape partnership\, where she developed skills in many areas of garden design and maintenance. Linda has been active with the Santa Fe Botanical Garden as a board member\, docent\, volunteer\, or horticultural advisor since 1998.  Her position now as Director of Horticulture keeps her happily engaged with the plants\, volunteers\, and staff of the Garden. She believes in creating gardens where people of all ages can connect to the awe and beauty of the natural world now and in the future. \nNoah Gapsis was born and raised in Santa Fe. The landscape of northern New Mexico is in his bones\, but he found horticulture by way of California. Galvanized by the boundless diversity of the CA floristic province and the temperate growing climate of the Bay Area\, he fell in love with plants in all their innumerable forms. After an apprenticeship at San Francisco Botanical Garden\, an Associates in Landscape Horticulture from Merritt College\, years creating and maintaining residential gardens\, and working as horticulturist of the South American collection at UC Botanical Garden at Berkeley\, Noah moved back home. Since his return he has been farming\, building gardens\, and now is a horticulturist at the Santa Fe Botanical Garden. \n\nCancellations and refunds: If you need to cancel\, please contact us at 505.471.9103. There are no refunds. \n\n\n**SFBG Members** You must sign in to receive your member discount.
