While honeybees get a lot of attention\, many of our local pollinators\, like mason bees and leafcutter bees are solitary species that don’t live in hives. Instead\, they nest in hollow stems\, wood tunnels\, and other natural nooks. \nIn this hands-on\, family-friendly program\, we’ll explore the life cycle and nesting habits of these quiet pollination powerhouses\, and why providing habitat is just as important as planting flowers.
