Drawing from decades of living and working in three distinct regions\, he explores how plants\, building materials\, climate\, and cultural history have shaped his work\, with a continual focus on the thoughtful fusion of traditional and modern design. \nAbout the Presenter:  \nJames David graduated in 1969 form LSU in Landscape architecture. He worked for 4 years as head landscape architect for the Texas Parks Department. He is the founder of a retail nursery and construction company (GARDENS) and Landscape Architectural firm and has done so for 30 years in Austin\, Texas. He is a Board Member of the Garden Conservancy and he chaired the Open Days Program for 6 years.
